This site was started on 2005/04/21 as a place to share info about the Yamaha M916 mixer.

Currently working on getting the service manual, then plan on completing / documenting a re-cap and investigating the possibility of replacing the op-amps.

Why do it like my M916?

Well, it has a plywood veneer case, it has a black vinyl wrist rest, it used to cost a lot of money & now it doesn't, it sounds ok, hopefully it can be made to sound even better, and it's the same vintage as an Asteroids machine
